Welcome To The Jungle

monkey safari are bringing it, that's for sure.

the two simian loving brothers from germany definitely aren't monkeying around with this blend of "samba, jungle, techno, 'rumble in the jungle' electro..."

Photobucket

from start to finish there is a definite jackmode/sound pellegrino purveying throughout...

there's some balkan & tropical electrohouse & ghettobass, some spoek featuring on a ed orable track I'm sure I heard and hey whoa some wobble and bassline too with some classic fidget towards the end with herves remix of kidda's "under the sun".

so go ahead already and right click save as the mix cover above

fun fun fun, this mix speaks volumes, so keep it cranking loud!

the label they call home is the relatively new what!what! label - a label that shares my love for the fact that good music's just as important as it's artwork (all the what!what album art & videos are coordinated by well respected street art collective klub7) - so i'll be sure to keep my digital ear to the webground and holla if your clicker is a bit slo

here are some more can-i-hear-a-what!-what! treats from the label:

elektrochemie lk - schall (mike okay remix) (right click save as)

...almost like playdoe remixed by a more tame otto von schirach

the bpa (feat. david byrne & dizzee rascal) - toe jam (the pnmnks remix) (right click save as)

...a fun, perhaps inspired by schlactofbronx's "die landlergschwister" meets a doe si doe ditty

queen - another one bites the dust (mike okay's bass repair edit) (right click save as)

...a cute little edit with a bassline sound akin to casiokids' "togens hule"... nice!

Jack Tennis - Toolroom (right click save as)

...a naaice nu-disco techfunker adding that little bit more of variety to an already solid catalogue.
